Wink really works :D

I have a 93 lexus sc3 auto, CAI, and 2.5 exhaust, (headers are going on monday )

when i run from a stop, i put it in low and press gas (take off), at around 4000 rpm i let go of gas and switch it to 2nd and press gas again really fast (it runs in first gear still, it later switches to 2nd at 6000 rpm)

then at around 5000 (on 2nd gear) i switch to "D" again letting go of gas and switching gear (3rd) {it then grabs 3rd at around 6000 again} but when switching from 2nd to 3rd you lose alot of power

but from all this i gain alot of lower end torque than just having it in "D." but by the time 3rd hits your already going around 60-65 so if you do this and give yourself enough distance from other car you can still win (in a race)..

i ran my friends supercharged mini cooper and off the line i took him all the way untill 3rd were i lost alot of power this is why im switching to maunal cause if it wasnt for this i think i would have won.. even on freeway wen we did a 2nd gear run i took him off the line and in 3rd he passed me but then i started catching up

i love these sc3 i would love more a 5spd

whooper, that is a good way to destroy your trans and the components connecting it. i did that in my mustang and luckily i only cracked a flywheel. i would advise against it, but what do i know...
