Default Ls sc300?

Hello everyone! For my first car, I may end up buying my grandpa's SC300. However, I was wondering if an LS engine swap has been done and is it worthwhile? Any help would be appreciated.

Learn how to search, its been done. You need a bit of technical knowledge, and if its your first car, leave it alone until you know how to drive.

Keep it as is, when you are ready for more fun (and have $$) go na-t.

You will find lots of answers here, the search function is your friend. Also emissions when dealing with a swaped car is a pain~ esp in cali.

Congrats on the sc3!

Isnt that an sc400? they have the same 1uz-fe engine.
sell the sc300 and buy a sc400 if you want the v8, or keep and turbo the sc300.

Oh. I was thinking like, LS430. That'd be a nice engine to shoe horn in our cars.
