Default engine leaking oil...

there seems to be oil leaking out of my engine somewhere around the top. my fan gets all this black buildup on it and i clean it but it comes back and there seems to be some sort of oil or fluid leaking by my alternator. i can also see residue by the back upper portion of my engine. i had a guy on this forum say it was my power steering pump but i only have 50K miles on my car and i just want some more opinions. thanks

Clean the engine with Gunk, especially aroung the alternator and power steering pump. Check for leaks every day after the engine is clean. If the P/S pump leaks, you will see it. I don't know abour SC300 but for SC400 you'll be looking at replacing the alternator too

Does your alternator located below the P/S pump?

on the 300 the alternator is on the other side of the engine, good thing for this dude. It is under the water pump - so that could fry it if it goes.
