Default SC300 2jzgte swap???

Sorry guys new to this site. I was planning to get a Sc300 so if anyone is planning to sell their sc300 black perfer 5 spd let me know but i'm planning to do a 2jzgte swap but i think the car already comes with the 2jzge already so is there a big deal just to drop the 2jzgte in there or do you need to do alot of modifications to make it work? I know you might need to change the ecu and stuff right? Not to sure so any info would help. Thx guys

My brother in law swaped an engine in our old altezza (IS to you guys). I know it has nothing to do with your thread, but it was a pain to sell when we did decide it had to go.

I'm not really familiar - why do people with 1SC's swap their engines all the time?

I have searched but no exact info. I just wanna know if it's hard to do from a 2jzge to a 2jzgte. Any new mods? The only thing I can think is the ecu but that's it. Not trying to make things hard just new to the Lexus seen.

Honestly you dont have waste money on a swap, it's more on you. You can make as much power in a 2jzge than a GTE. Try and Clubna-t.com and that might help alot more if you search there.

Thx for all the help. If it's that way then yeah I'll just turbo charge the 2jzge. Still probably be the same anyways right?
