Default Head pullers chime in....

Has anyone here pulled the head studs out with just a 5 point hex socket? I've been looking for a ten point everywhere and cannot find one, the 5 point fits in there, I don't want to run the risk of stripping the bolt, but I'm running out of options here, I have ARP studs going in, just wondering if I can break the studs loose with a 5 point.... If it strips I'm F'd.

No no no, it's 10 point. I'm telling you lol. Fsm says use a 10mm bi-hexagonal socket. My regular 10mm hex fits in perfect and snug.

NAPA carries the tool you need. Part numbers below:

8mm - SER2304
10mm - SER2305
12mm - SER2306

Its 10 mm but the bolt is 12 point. If you are planning to use arp then the hex 10mm should be fine.
