R154 swap. Ran into a snag (driveshaft)!
Im trying to finish up this swap, in my Mk4 supra. It was stock tt, auto, ...which SHOULD be the same as doing this in an auto sc300, right? At, least, thats what I thought.
Im trying to use my stock auto rear driveshaft, with the front part of a Mk3 r154 driveshaft. I thought that was suppossed to work?
I have the Mk3 driveshaft split, and carrier bearing removed. Then I pulled the front half off the Mk4 driveshaft. From the pics, I dont see how it could work.
Any suggestions?

Well with the SC we use the SC300 W58 rear half and MK3 front Half, I know the SC Wheelbase is longer than the MK4.
Did You Try the SC300 Rear Half maybe or GS300 rear half with the combination of these DS you should be able to get one that will work.
I am in the same boat 1.5JZ in the MK4 with R154 but i will be using custum DS.

No, ...I dont have all the cominations, to try. Im about to head to the driveshaft shop, and have them put the r154 yoke, and the rear section of the stock front shaft, ..on a new piece of pipe. Then, have it all balanced, together.
