Power steering whine issue, did a flush, still a small noise...
So rolling into work today I noticed when I gave the engine any throttle, the ps was whining... badly. I did my research and just did the flush as seen here...

Well it worked, after I got everything back together and at the right level of fluid, the whine with RPMs was gone... BUT now I still notice if I turn the wheel left or right (vehicle is on the ground) I hear a smaller whine/noise, almost like a screech now. I did clean the filter inside the reservoir, and I used the ATF fluid we have here at work (I work at Honda, its ATF-Z1, synthetic dexron...)
The fluid before I did the flush smelled alot like someone had put power steering fluid in there before... not ATF.
To make sure I did this right... I connected a hose to the inlet hose on the pump resovoir (the one on the back/right side of the canister when facing the front of the vehicle) and I capped off the reservoir side. The fluid going into my bucket, seemed very clean, like what I was pouring in was coming right out and not going through my system... its very confusing. Like I said it fixed my whine... but I feel as if Im missing something. If anyone could shed any light Id appreciate it.
