Im looking into a V-mount setup for my TT 1uz, I was just curious to see what people have done...

I remember a SC awhile ago, forgot which one it was...

I know the silver soarer with the rb26 is v-mounted.

And the NOS energy drink SC with the v8 twin turbo also. They're running dual intercoolers.

Interesting... making a v-mount so flat that it negates all the benefits of a v-mount setup. I hope he has some serious ducting under there.

Right you are. I think with a little more effort (and smaller intercoolers...) he could of made it an actual V rather than a flat setup. However, this gives me a good mental picture

No reason he needs that much intercooler for those little turbo's...

Better airflow to both intercooler and radiator instead of a front mount blocking most of cool airflow to the radiator. Less intercooler piping which increases throttle response. A vented hood would definitely be recommended. It's more beneficial at lower speeds (less airflow) when it comes to cooling.

Damn that RB'd SC gives me chub... If I didn't want like the 1UZ so much thats the route I would go. Matt's car with a 1UZ TT and a V mount would be pure sex!
