maf unplugged
on idle my car bogs/stalls. when i give it a gas on idle it stops bogging/stalling. when i unplugged the maf it seems to run better. what could this mean? I also have a very strong fuel/gas smell.

It could mean that your MAF is bad, but I cant prove that. I am working on a bogging issue with my 400, and am trying used MAFs. The first one I bought was bad, and turned on my CEL.

Any check engine lights? If so, which ones? If it stalls only while idling it could be a dirty Idle Air Control Valve.
You need to give us a little more info on what's going on before people can help you. And number one thing is to keep up with maintenance.

change my plugs like 2 months ago. then about 2 weeks ago i seafoamed my car. after sea foaming i changed the oil and oil filter. check engine like comes on sometimes. but rarely and if it does it's when the car is cold. when idling it stalls real hard and sometimes dies. but i can clearly hear it trying to fight the stall. when i give it a gas, the car doesn't stall. the thing is while i was driving it stalled still and died out on me. i have a really strong fuel/gas smell. cleaned my throttle body.

see if you can find someone local that's willing to lend you their MAF to see if it fixes your problem.
It's really not a good idea to run without the MAF for very long. Your injectors will hate you, and eventually crap out, iirc.
Or, I'm sure you can find a good used one from someone who upgraded and is no longer using it.
