Will a SC300 tranny mate to a 1JZ-GTE?
Hey guys, I'm wanting to put a 1JZ-GTE into a SC300 manual, do I need the manual from the 1JZ-GTE or will the SC300's manual bolt up to the 1JZ-GTE? Thanks for any info!

It should, this is just going by what I have been told, not my actual experiences, but the 1jz-gte comes with the r154 tranny so does the 7mgte in mkIII supra turbos, and the non-turbo comes with the w58 which is the same as the sc300, now I have heard of people swaping trannys between the two 7m... engines so I assume same bellhousings all around, but I couldn't tell you if the tranny is the same length for sure, also I have heard the r154 is quite a bit stronger than your stock w58 so it may be something to consider if it is easy and cheap enough for you to get a hold of.

I believe he's working with an Aristo front-cut for a 1JZ-GTE swap right now and he might know the information off the top of his head. He's in OZ.
