AC wiring for 2jzgte swap - 3 wires... what is what?
OK so I heard there are issues with the AC when swapping in a 2JZGTE.
So before I yanked the 2jzge, I checked the voltage signals at the AC plug on my sc300 just to see what was going on in factory trim.
here is what I found:
blue wire - gets 12v signal ony when the car is running with the AC switch turned on
brown wire - ground signal. I am assuming this is a ground wire, correct?
blue green/yellow stripe wire - not sure what this is. I found it to be another ground signal but I dont think that is right. It must do something so here I am asking the experts that may know what is what.
So am I correct to assume that all I need to do is wire up a high sensitivity relay to intercept the factory signal wire to send a 12v signal to the blue wire to activate the compressor clutch?
Or is there something more that I need to do with that other wire?
