Default w58 bellhousing question

ive looked through many engine swap and manual swap threads (couldnt find any w58 swap thread) but anyways i have a auto sc300 and im doing the w58 swap. the auto bell housing should be the same right?

as in i just have to take out the auto tranny and slap on the manual tranny?

thanks i need to double check. i dont want to be half way doing it and find out it dosent work.

thanks in advance

I don't think you can use the Auto bellhousing!!!! If that's the case you can just bolt an MKIII R154 using the Auto Bellhousing .Don't quote me on that !!!
I might be wrong

bellhousings are different, just because they can bolt to the same block doesn't mean they can bolt to the same tranny. You need a W58 bellhousing.

I have a 5spd swap that came off of a 95sc300, wouldn't that bell housing work for those who are planning an auto to manual swap for their sc300? If you're going r154 you would probably need the soarer 5spd bell housing. Right?
