Car Started Bogging !!!HELP!!!
Ok, SO here's the deal..
I started my car and it ran for about 15-20 minutes while i was inside runin aroun... ( I like tolet my car warm up)
So, I then proceed to leave my house and go around the corner, about 1/4 mile from my house the car starts bogging out, so i throw the car in neutral and shut it off...
I coast into a neighborhood that I can see whats goin on (not on the main road)
I started the car and it was still bogging, like it wasn't running on all 8 cylinders.
at first I thought I might need gas (could be possible)
Then I went ahead an checked the coilpacks, Both Coilpacks Are Fine.
I am still at a loss as to what has happened. I am confident it is something that jsut needs to be replaced because the car suddenly started doing it..
The car has run great for me with no problems at all..
I just want to get this problem taken care of before I start on my timing belt and water pump...
ANY INFO WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL AS I AM NEW TO LEXUS.
THANKS

Well I traced it down to my rotor on the left sdie of my engine.. It was completely shredded! I figured since I had a bunch of stuff apart it would be good to start my timing belt, water pump, idler pulleys and seals. SO tommorrow I will be pulling the front of the motor apart to do the Timing belt and water pump and such...
How the hell did that rotor just SHRED!
