Help Yahoo27 fix his transmission!!
Year: 1993
Car: SC400
Motor: 1jz-gte swap
Problem: When shifted in to Drive its in a high gear like 3rd, when shifted into 2 feels like a higher gear also. Shifted in L feels fine, in first gear.
Things I tried: Replaced all three solenoids same thing happens, after I changed the solenoids I meaured the resistance of the old solenoid they seem to have the correct resistance. But O/D light stopped blinking after I changed the solenoids and hasn't blinked since, Although I haven't droved the car much maybe I haven't gave it time to come on.
The vehicle feels like the following charts, the problem is that I don't know what the ECT ECU is so I don't know if it's plugged or unplugged. It seems like the solenoids arent getting power, What plug could I test if the solenoids are getting power without taking off the pan if possible? a Picture of the ECT ECU. I bought the vehicle with the swap, so I don't know if it's wired correctly
According to the last chart, it seems to acting like the No.1 solenoid or both solenoid doesn't work.

I dunno what's in there, it was a rough estimate my backlights is very dim. Today I tried to put it on drive and it died on me. My speedometer doesn't work also would that have an effect on it? Bad tcu?

O/d blinking = time to retrieve tranny diag codes
that will narrow things down a bit. If none of those lead you to wires/ pressures/ solinoids then I think the tq is a safe bet.
