Oh, my 1JZ woes :(
Heres my new issue
Today driving back from work, my transmission decided to start doing its own thing. It would shift gears at random, try to start in first then shift to fourth, then to third etc etc. I was having to manually change it into 2 to stop it stalling out whenever I left a red light. At highway speed it was a bit better, but it was still shifting into and out of overdrive.
I know my ECU is starting to go bad, every now and then it'll misfire really bad when I start it up because injectors 1 and 4 wont fire due to the caps going bad in the ECU. Could the shifting issue be ECU related too, or is it an actual mechanical problem with the tranny itself?
I tied pulling the codes using the flash test, I'm pretty sure I got 13, 64, 21 and 42.
Car is a 95 SC300 with a 1JZ.
