Default Other Auto Transmission Options For The 2J ???

So looking into tranny options for my auto 2J and I remembered that my 1Gen GS 96 to be exact had a 5-speed auto on a 2JZ-GE. Does anyone have any info on this transmission I would like to know if I can swap this into my car and possibly gain the benefit of a 5th gear for top end and better fuel economy. I mean i guess it bolts up on to our cars but how would it be controlled can it work any input would be appreciated

I'm failry certain you couldn't use the 5spd auto without somehow running the GS/IS ecu....
