Default Need a little bit of help.

Hey everyone out there. I am first time poster on the forums and also just purchased a 1992 SC400 2 days ago. Also have had an IS300 for about a year now. But anyway i have a few questions about the sc400 that i am having problems with. I have the check engine light on and was wondering on how i can check out why it is on. I know as well that the traction control light is on, which i have read if the main o2 sensor is bad that that will come on. Also i have read a lot about the climate control LCD screen going out and the needles on the speedos going out as well. My main concern right now is the check engine light tho. Car runs smooth and idles fine. Doesn't shift hard or anything like that so it doesn't seem like anything that is a major concern but just that light being on bothers me. So if someone could let me know how i can check it. Does the earlier toyotas have Cell readings like 88-95 hondas do? Thanks in advance for your time and help.

So the check engine light/trac off light coming on together means bad o2 sensor? I was test driving my car around the other night, and had the CEL and TRACoff light come on for about 5 minutes and then go off. That could make sense, because this thing sucks through a little over a quarter tank of gas every 50 miles.
