Before I start, I'd just like to say that I did search extensively! I found some useful info, but not what I was looking for.

I have a '95 SC300 with a 1JZ swap and I'm having transmission problems. I've given up trying to fix the tranny and am just looking to replace it with a new one now and throw the old one off of a cliff.

My question is, what auto trannys are compatible with the 1JZ engine and ECU? Will the stock SC300 tranny work with my engine? If not, then where is a good place to source a 1JZ tranny? All the JDM importers that sell the soarer packages don't seem to sell the trannys on their own, only as a package with the engine/ecu etc...

Please help! I need the lexus up and running again! I'm sick of driving my POS Merkur!

If you were in Colorado I'd sell you the one I have sitting around cheap. I'm sure shipping would be a ***** though. Just ask around in the classified section of this forum. People often have them sitting around after a swap.
