I need to know what exact car and year ranges these engines cam from, does anyone have the answer to this?

It has a front oil sump

and on the front in the left corner it says yamaha on the engine

Can anyone help me with this, I am trying to complete this swap into my sc300 1997 automatic and need some parts but not sure of the year of the engine and the person brought it from doesnt really know either, but the engine is clean, and runs, and has good compression ratio when tested.

Don't quote me on this one, but IIRC a chaser was front sump.

Do you know that you cant pass emissions with that motor?

Sounds like a Chaser motor. It will drop in, but you will need a custom harness, rear sump oil pan, and you may need to reuse your SC engine mount brackets.

Thanks, I will check on some of this stuff this afternoon when i start working on the engine. I will start taking some pics and post once i begin on this.

I know it wont pass emissions tests but I think I can get around it for now.
