Default SC400 Auto Driveshaft Pictures?

Guys, i'm looking for some pictures of the SC400 auto driveshaft to see if the flanges are what i'm needing for my GTE/auto swap in my sc300.

Any help would be appreciated but it was hard finding such a generic phrase in search.

That helps a bit, what type of end piece is on the front half do you recall?

the SC300 auto is a 2 piece but it doesnt slide apart like the TT ones and such.

Is it a yoke that slides into the transmission or a 3piece bolt or a 4 bolt?

Awesome,

Can anybody 100% confirm this driveshaft will make the GTE auto fit the TT/NA rearend diff? No modifications required?

It will fit the rear end but the SC4 d/s will not fit the GTE auto trans, it's 4 bolt where the SC4 flange is 3. Now if it's an SC4 transmission which is virtually the same as the GTE trans then it will work because obviously you are using the appropriate d/s.

Ok just to clear this thread up, incase someone else searches the matter or something.

The USDM TT Auto is a 4 bolt style

the JDM TT Auto is a 3 bolt style

The SC400 auto driveshaft bolts to the JDM TT auto outputshaft (3 bolt) and then bolts to the TT/NA rear diff setup using the 3 bolt style setup.

I think thats the correct way of phrasing that, if someone can confirm lol?

Thanks for the pictures and help guys.

What would be really usefull is if you could shed some light on which carrier bearing will/won't work on either d/s.

Well the SC300 auto driveshaft, looks like a 2pc but is not removable like the others.

Like the TT two piece drivehsafts come apart. SC300 not so much....

The SC400 auto appears its also a 2 piece that comes apart.

The SC4 slides off just like the TT. I know that for a fact. What I was meaning was the postion of the carrier bearing after trying several differnt combinations of the TT SC3 and SC4 d/s.

Ok i picked up an SC400 auto shaft today. It indeed has the 3 piece end for the JDM tranny.

I however took the front half off and put my TT auto front half on it to mate with the 4 bolt style USDM transmission tail piece.

I'm now at a cross roads though. The tail piece needs to connect to my TT auto differential. The TT differential is a 3 bolt triangle and the driveshaft is as well....however the driveshaft is a smaller bolt triangle pattern than the diff. So the donunt insilater things are either to big for the driveshaft or too small for the diff depending on which i use.

Anybody ran into this before?

Update if anybody cares lol

I ended up taking the 3 bolt style yoke off my TT differential and replacing it with the 3 bolt yoked from the sc300 differential. Now the donunt from the SC chassis bolts to the diff which bolts to the SC400 auto driveshaft and mounts to the GTE auto transmission.

So drivetrain completed on this project
