Default Sluggish

I have a 96 SC400. I have been having trouble with it being very sluggish at low rpm.Between 1k and 3k it acts like it don't want to go anywhere. When I originally bought the car it had a random misfire. I started combating this problem by changing the spark plugs, wires and distributors and caps. It was only misfiring on the odd side then. So, I replaced the coil. That seemed to help the misfire, but car is still extremely sluggish at low rpm's. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong.

did you replace the rotors? How did the spark plugs look? Sometimes the cam will eat a spark plug wire.

Yes I replaced the rotors. The plugs looked fine, but they were some sorry brand. I put the iridium NGKR's in to replace the ones that were in it when I got it. I have also replaced the stock cats with MagnaFlo high flows. I didn't replace the O2 sensors yet. Plan on replacing those next. Thanks for replying. I was begining to wonder if anybody was out there!LOL!

make sure you check the tps too. I hate to say it, but when it comes down to something like this; is to replace as needed.

It is only when driving the car, mainly between 1k and 3k rpms. I haven't checked the tps. That is a good idea though. It woud explain why it is getting to much gas but I am not sure if it would explain the random misfire on just the odd side. I will check it though. Thanks
