i need help! can someone tell what is this hose is it for? it connect right under the radiator... it has a oil coming out of it is it... not sure what type of oil im thinking power steering fluid, or transmission oil? here are some pictures the hose is sitting right on top of the front sway bar.. it seem like it melt the rubber hose
damnit see i believe its the tranny also why? because this morning it felt like my tranny is slipping and after work when i got into my car it wouldnt get into gears... like i said the hose goes from the bottom of the radiator then to that connector...
Oops forgot to link the thread. Just pour some TOYOTA ATF...and nothing else, into the dipstick tube, let sit for 5 min, then check, then fill some more, until it gets to the proper level. Make sure its the good Toyota stuff though.
how many quarts do i need? if you had to check the oil level where should it be at? what type of atf should i use? or do i just got and ask them myself?
The whole tranny takes ten quarts, but you shouldn't need to put in more than two. Just go in to toyota, tell them what car and what year, and they'll give you the right stuff.
