So after almost a year of waiting........I finally have my headers!!

Should be installing them next Wednesday, if not before. Should be a blast to drive on my boosted V8.

Next step will be to redo header back.

These things should give my car a good kick in the butt...I can't wait.

I will very likely put heat wrap on them.

As far as their bolt-on-ness, I already have a couple of concerns. I think the wiring for the two front O2 sensors will likely need to be made longer, not a big deal. I'm not yet 100% convinced that the flanges will line up on both sides to the OEM y-pipe, I may need to redo my header back setup sooner than later. Won't really know for sure untill I go to install them.

Everything else looks pretty good to me! Let me know what you guys think.

Man those were some quick replies there...

RedPhoenix, what do you want video of?

I know these headers have been somewhat of a mystery to the Lexus world, even before I decided to order mine. Anything I can do to provide more REAL info on them would be my pleasure. Just let me know, more pics, install notes, ect...

I think the point was, he had them on order for over a year. Its a little hard to install parts that you don't have.

Not tomorrow, next Wednesday, at the latest. If I can contain myself until then. LOL.

Tell me about it. I am so super excited about finally having some good exhaust flow on my supercharged V8. I'm drooling just thinking about it. LOL.

Once I get these babies on, I'll need to make up my mind on what to do header back. Need to decided between 2.25 or 2.5 dual and some higher flowing mufflers.

Charlotte. I go to Mooresville dragway quite a bit if you'd be interested in meeting up. Will most definately go next Thursday after getting these installed.

Will also likely to to Rockingham dragway (1/4 mile) asap.

Wow so they finally came in. Im glad you and the seller were able to work something out. So many ponies are going to be released once these go on. The one thing I'd be kind of iffy about would be the flange area. I dont know maybe its just me but it looks like there should be a little more support. But we wont know until you get them on. How about some before and after dyno numbers?

cool, don't really go to mooresville dragway much but been to rockingham a few times..what's the fastest have you gotten on the 1/8 on your current setup minus the headers?

I agree a little on the flange area but, if they "bolt on" like they're supposed to, they will use the bracket that bolts to the transmission and to the cats ensuring little if any flex.

I do plan to dyno. I have put on a smaller pulley and put in a colder thermostat since I was dynoed last so it won't be all header gain, but should still be quite informative. I honestly cannot afford to dyno now and after the install so we'll have to go by the numbers I already have.

See sig. Keep in mind this is on street tires. I cannot launch anywhere near my stall speed without spinning 60ft+ down the track.

I might head down (over really) to Rockingham the last Saturday of this month.
