Default What did I just break?

As you can see in the picture I broke this plastic purple piece that holds a hose to the plenum from the right valve cover. I have since taken a new piece of vacuum hose and fit it over the broken nub. Haven't started it yet, but the new hose seems to be fine, it has a clip and everything.

Anyway, what broke?

You broke the PCV Valve.

Just pull it out with a pliers and replace it with a new one. Its like 10 bucks at pepboys/autozone

Thanks Curry!

I got the old one off, but I have no idea how to get the new valve in place. It seems like too tight of a fit. Whats the deal? I am trying to get this in now, but it literally seems impossible. Anyone got any quick suggestions?

Keep pushing. Its supposed to be real tight. Put some grease on it to slide it in.
