Default About to kill my car!! - WILL NOT START AGAIN! ECU Issue!

Im about to throw my car in a river right now.

This is the 2nd time this has happened. First time I was at a car show and when I was going to leave, my car just cranks, but nothing else. I noticed that the CEL was NOT on when it was in the "ON" position, which it should be. I found a relay that was busted and it worked.

Well today, it happened again. Came home, then was going to leave to get some food. Just cranks again. Once again, NO CEL light on in the "ON" position.

So I grabbed some new relays and popped them in the same one that died before. This time... it just cranks and nothing else. CEL is NOT on still.

So I know its an ECU issue. Lack of power getting to it or something. I checked EVERY fuse, all tested in the volt meter as OK. Changed out what relays I had and same thing.

CEL is not coming on in the ON position, car just cranks, no spark what so ever.

Where do I even go from here. Im getting so sick of these random bull**** problems.

you got new relays from dealer. check for power going in and out of the relay. check for power to ECM, here these might help. kinda of hard to see but e11 is 31 which is on the lower left corner

Probably not this, but is it possible the wires in the driver fender are getting eaten away from the ride height being too low?

Perhaps you should make sure all your wires are tightly connected into your ecu?

if it comes and goes as randomly as you are experiencing it and you live in flordia, it might have something to do with moisture/humidity. check all open connections, but honestly i dont know where you would even start...

It does sound like ecu issues with no cel light. I was looking at mine last night to see if I could find what wires were needed to run the engine.

well, i would say it could be a realy since sometimes it works and doesnt. try it when the car is cold. or when it starts again try shaking wires at the ECU or at places, tapping relays or tapping the ecu while cranking

Well its periodic. Today this is what happened.

Got out from work @ 10, so the car has been off for 9 hours.

Would not start (No CEL in "on" position). Called my friend to come get me at work. Tried in the on position, NO CEL. Twisted back to ACC and then to ON. CEL was on, car started.

Got home, thought about it, and about 10:35 I tested my theory. Went from ON to ACC to OFF and back, the CEL light would pop on occasionally, and allow me to start the car.

Friend came over at 11 and I was going to show him how I got it to work. I could not get it to work again. CEL stayed off, car would not start, no matter how many times I went back and forth into the ON position.

Its 2:30 now, friend dropped me off and for giggles, I tried to see if the car would start. Sure did, first try, CEL came on, car started no problem.

So I am flabbergasted.

Were there any recalls on these ECU's?

My sc started acting up a while ago. Ive checked every sensor and all was in fine. The car will not go past 2000 rpm's and it car will loose 1st gear randomly, it will do it sometime and them work fine .

It turned out being condensation from my ac dripping directly in the ecu plugs and leaking inside the board. It never yet gave me a cel light probably because there is no codes for a wet ecu . Like olt said i will lean more towards the ecu since its not giving any codes and ive seen instances where the 1uzfe ecu dies without warning.

have you checked if your tires have been munching on some wires on the driver side?
