I was thinking a sc300 1jz vvti, 5speed with an sc 400 rear end would be the ultimate daily driver for todays has prices, any other ideas from any of you, possibly different injectors, fuel pump, afcr? Open to others imput, i have the car, motor, looking what else to but to have a nice sc for a daily driver.

If you can deal with shifting gears in traffic then get the manual transmission, I don't see why you'd need the SC400 rear end though.

I heard the sc400 has a lower rear end gear for the highway, anyone else have any ideas that might make it a more fuel effiecent setup?

So 5speed, vvti, and low rear end gear or highway gear from a sc 400, any other ideas to make the ultimate daily sc? What size injectors to go with? Wondering if my aem from my supra can be put it just to tune it for daily driving leaving everything else stock?

Any other ideas?

if you care about fuel efficiency... get a tercel or something, it will cost less than a swap

I have a supra i never drive, a tacoma, sentra and the sc, who wants to drive a tercel if you can create something that would be a classy daily driver even if it costs alot to do. I have the car, engine, harness, already not much else to do, was looking to make it a nice daily beater to drive around.

Any other good ideas, other then getting another car would be great, its fun to create something others have not done.

So has anyone else done the vvti swap, 5speed, changed injectors, fuel pump or the sc400 rear end? Any ideas how these changes would effect performance and fuel economy?
