Default Sc300 1992 Timing Belt Snaps

Hey people's.. Im currently driving a 1992 lexus sc300 wth a 2jzgte motor.. I wanted to know would my motor crash if the timing belt snaps? I've heard people tell me that they don't, and some say they do.. what's the case? By the way, I'm thinking of injecting 50 shots of dry nos.. any suggestions? Please email me for the timing belt question

I've been told that the 92 SC300 is a non-interference engine.
Your valves will be safe. At least according to a local Lexus technician.

On the 50 shot question...

The stock fuel system scales pretty well up to around 350-400rwhp if you have upgraded the fuel pump.
To play it safe: from 300-375rwhp, Id use a Supra MK3 turbo fuel pump.
From 375-500, I'd use the Supra MK3 turbo fuel pump with an auxiliary fuel controller and two 550cc secondaries. (Or an upgraded fuel rail w/pulsation dampener with 520cc mains.)

50 shot on this engine is childs play assuming you keep your air/fuel ratios in line.

SC300T has some great advice.

If you've never run nitrous before - it's always good to upgrade the fuel pump reguardless of the size of the shot. Stick to the advice from SC300T and you'll be fine.

i've been thinking of a twin MKIII pump setup... it'd be easy as hell to do provided the rail supports twin inputs, etc...

twin MK3 pumps would seem very doable, but you'd need some way to scale their output, like an adjustable FPR or serious air/fuel management on the ECU or MAF side.

I've never seen the serious MK4 TT aftermarket rails up close... Are they 2JZGE compatible?
