i have searched this forum over and over, every company mentioned is either gone, does not have them, or keeps trying to talk me into a chaser engine. Inevitably in every thread discussing approximate cost of a jzz30 engine set there is someone that posts "i can get one for 1500 any day of the week" (or something along these lines) I cannot find the correct engine set at all.
any ideas?

I got mine from Jarco. I let them know what I was looking for, a Soarer set with R154, and got an email a month and a half later with pics and a video of an automatic set they were about to pull. I ended up getting that and I'm going to use my W58. If you're picky and waiting for an R154, then I would say wait a while, they're generally hard to come by. Also, a lot of people have tried JHOT too. I heard they're pretty good as well.

i got mine a month ago from jhot. they get a couple per shipment. call em and ask about making a deposit or something.
the motor is amazingly clean and it came with loads of extra parts all they way down to the fuel pump from the soarer it was pulled from.
i paid 1100 shipped.

jarco has a message saying they no longer are going to be importing motors, jhot has told me for months nothing, I am dying to get this done, saved spare change forever with this in mind and now i cant find an engine. DOH!!!
