Default 1jzgte in 96 sc obd2

I heard 96 has obd2 but im triying to put a 1jz how much more work in the wiring needs to be done cause for my understading if it was obd1 it would be a plug and play setup

My understanding is that it is illegal to swap an OBD1 motor into an OBD2 vehicle. I believe you can put an OBD2 motor into and OBD1 car but not vice versa.

Dont worry about legal, its about fun... unless youre in Cali lol. No smog testng here in FL, you should be ok. As for the difference in OBD1 or OBD2, i'm not sure what is going to be different as far as wiring, i would like to know because I'll be doing a swap into a 96 as well sometime soon. Maybe sc250tt will chime in at some point because i know he's got the answer.
