Default Those with low or erratic idle READ!

I recently purchased a 94 SC400 and the car was great for a coulpe months. Then last week it started to have a low erratic idle. Under throttle load it drove great, just wouldn't idle for $h!#. So I checked the usual suspects, IACV, TPS, even replaced plugs and wires. And it still wouldn't idle correctly. Well, I found the problem. There is an idle sensor for the power steering pump. I bypassed the sensor and it was like a whole new car. Idles great, no misfire, even starts better. Bypassing the sensor seems to have no affect on the power steering, but I will update this thread in a couple days to let you know how its running. I'm still deciding if I will replace the sensor or just leave it as is. Any thoughts on this?

How did you bypass the sensor and where is it located? I am wondering cause on my SC300 when i turn the wheel and the power steering kicks in, the idle drops. it usually only does it while sittin and not driving.
