ok, here's our dilemma. i have a 95 sc400 and my buddy has a 93 sc400. i recently did a 1jz swap so i gave my friend my old motor and tranny because mine was running alot better. he got some guy to install it for him but now when he drives it in D it starts off in 4th gear. if he shifts it to 1 then it starts off in that gear. i also gave him my ecu to see if that would make a difference but it didnt. is there a difference between 93 and 95 v8s? or could it just have been a bad install? my motor was running perfect when it was yanked out. any help would be greatly apprieciated.
