my serpentine belt keeps popping off...I replaced the belt and that didn't help. So now I have a goodyear tensioner full assembly on its way to me. I already read a topic on what is necessary to change it... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ight=tensioner

well this is a 2 part thing for me...

my power steering pump has been leaking like a 'heavy day' since i got the car and when I got the timing/distributor cover off I found the leak...(see attachment)

well because of that leak my alternator is caked w/ black road dirt etc.

OK the questions:

1. can I just plug up that spot where it's leaking w/out any negative effects?

2. what's the trick to lowering the alternator out of the way?

that helps me for the alternator removal...but I'm still curious about the PS leak.
