Default New Owner, Problems Starting Car, HELP!

Hi,

Just became a SC owner, picked up a 1993 SC400 but i'm having problems getting it started.

The car is cranking over fine, fuel is pumping, I can smell the raw fuel coming from the exhaust, just doesn't seem to be igniting.

I checked for a code and pulled a 41 - TP Sensor Signal.

Would a faulty TPS prevent the car from firing up?

Is that telling me that the TPS is not working, or just a signal issue?

Also, my car seems to have 2 TPS' Don't know which one is causing the problems.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Roby
