1jz swap with r154 got a few questions.
I got a 92 SC300 5 speed. I've been reading on the 1jz swap with the 5 speed manual tranny. Probably going to be from a supra 1jz.
Anyways, I got a few questions for it. Mainly for the transmission.
Beside having to extend the shifter and using tranny side of the MKIII driveshalft and diff side of the sc300 driveshalf. I believe I read somewhere saying a slave cylinder is needed as well. Also will the transmission fit fine on the crossmember and the mounts?
I'm going to do timing change and waterpump on the 1jz, I was wondering what timing belt and waterpump can I use on the 1jz? Will the 1jz supra downpipe fit the SC's exhaust? Without any modification.
Also how many hp can the twin turbos be able to handle and the injectors together? I'm planning to retune the car with the most psi I can get out of the twins. I'm going to be using a front mount. Then sometime in the summer throw on a big single.

Rexn30 is correct. Do some searching and you will find your answers. As for the trans you are correct on the driveshaft and mount. they need to be from a w58. you only need a clutch master cyl if your old one is bad or you dont have one (auto-> manual swap) otherwise all the lines fit together. You can take a stock shifter from an mk3 r154 and bend it to make it swan necked to fit the trans hole.

For a 1JZ timing belt:
The 1988+ Isuzu Trooper 4 cylinder 2.6 liter engine (4ZEL) uses the same belt as the Toyota 1JZ engine. So instead of getting a belt from Japan (~$100) you can pick up an Isuzu Trooper belt locally at an auto parts store for about $30 US. Make Sure You Get The 4 Cylinder 2.6 Litre Engine Belt!
Timing belt specs: 137 teeth, 25mm wide
water pump 2jzgte will work
