Default ARP Flywheel Bolts- Which size?

I plan on doing a R154 swap on my car this weekend, and realized that the OEM flywheel bolts are not reusable.. so I'd like to buy a set of ARP flywheel bolts (which can be re-used).

The flywheel bolts are about $9 each from the dealer, or about $7.50 with a slight discount. That's about $65 with tax for a set of 8 bolts.

ARP's are cheaper, stronger, and re-usable.

BUT- I need to know the size

ARP-203-2801 : 12mm x 1.25 RH

ARP-203-2802 : 10mm x 1.25 RH

Or is it some other size?

Thanks in advance guys,

Allen

If the R154 flywheel bolts are the same as the W58 ones, I can check out the sizes on the ones I just got from HPF when I get home in a few hours (I'm in class right now).

You're not supposed to re-use the flywheel bolts. The the specified torque is meant to bring the bolt to the point of yielding. This is stated in the service manual

Yea, that would be great- thanks.

lexforlife- the OEM flywheel bolts shouldn't be re-used on our cars. Once they're torqued down and installed, I believe they stretch a bit.

10mm. Doesn't list a thread pitch though. The part number I got is 203-2802

It says Toyota 4AG flywheel bolt kit.... I wonder if by 4AG they mean 4age? That'd be pretty interesting if they shared flywheel bolts haha

I remember readin gthat the 4AG bolts fit the 1jz/7mgte motor, and the 3S-GTE bolts fit our 2jz motor. I'm tryin to find the link on supraforums but I can't seem to locate it

Let me know if it's the right size. Since I'm on a tight time frame here, I just ordered some brand new OEM flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts from Curt Aigner at Elmhurst Toyota. Awesome prices, fast shipping too. Each flywheel bolt was only $5 (compared to $10/each at my local dealership), and each PP bolt was less than a buck. They should arrive tommorrow

I believe the pitch is 1.25

I bought new factory ones since my ARP catalog doesn't show it for the 2JZ. If ones for a different car would work, that'd be sweet.

the ones that are for the 4AG are made for any 4AG motor, supercharged or not. there may be compatible bolts.

in the nissan world you can use 300zx bolts on an sr20. you can also use the ARP bolts made for a ford pinto. lol. they are the same size, pitch, and length.

ill try to get some info for you this weekend when i go home

i can stop by the toyota dealer and ask them to see a flywheel bolt and just measure the length, size, and pitch right there are the dealer. then you can just get the same size bolt from ARP.
