Picked up a 5 speed SC300 but is the cat clogged
Recently I picked up a very clean Sc300 5speed 1993 black with grey and 108k on the clock. I really love the car but when I 1st picked it up I noticed that the car didn't really have the power it really should. I've driven a few Sc300 and this one is kinda weak. I bought the car in Houston and I am in process of driving back I noticed a really bad sulfur smell. I continued but I am currently stopped at my parents house in New Mexico and thinking I need to resolve this before I continue to CA.
I started the car this morning noticed the sulfur smell was coming from the exhaust. I also noticed a slight hint of a coolant smeel come from the door area but when I open up the hood I don't smell any coolant and the car isn't leaking coolant or anything. Could the head gasket of blown because of the clogged cat? The oil is fine and looks clean. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the oil to see if there is coolant in the oil? It sounds like you are in Las Cruces. If you are in Cruces finaly another CL member here even if it is just on your way through. Side note, I took out my cat because I thought it was cloged and I could tell a big performance gains.

No coolant in the oil I drove from Houston to Albuquerque and the car ran cool no overhearing matter a fact it ran under the 1/2 way mark so I doubt it's a head gasket but who knows. I am in albuquerque currently but may have to drive to Las Crusces to go home because of the weather.
I had an Rx7 turbo that had 2 cats the 1st one was clogged the car had no power i gutted and it was awesome and ran great for many years after.

Update
Pressure checked the exhaust and everything checked out good. Only a couple of lbs of back pressure which is normal.
Changed the fuel filter and the car runs alot better. I am sure the altitude of being in New Mexico hinders performance a little bit but the car seems good now.
