Default Stupid Problem

Hey all I just got a new batteryand I went to install the sucker and the terminal was too small and I couldn't tighten it all the way. can anyone suggest a good fix without me having to change either?

You could probably take the battery back and get another one that will fit. Do you know if the battery was recommended for your car? I had to replace mine a few months ago.

haha this was a dumber problem than I thought. I changed the battery in the dark so i couldn't see that the terminal wasn't opening when I loosened the bolt so it wasn't going far enough down on the battery. after I loosened it in the morning everything was fine. thanks guys
