Default S-AFC install on 97 SC4

Ok I went to install my SAFC on my SC400 yesterday. I used the t7-a pinout for of course the lexus/soarer 1uzge world. I found that on my car the wire they call the 12v ignition wire that runs into the ecu has no power. It is a black and red wire located in the very last pin (bottom right) of the third plug. I thought that to be VERY odd and was wondering if any other pin-out locations could be wrong.

oh i salso found that the SAFC i got was junk and doesn't work from the factory....more waiting

When I hooked up my emanage to my 96 sc4 i tapped the black/red wire and worked just fine...

What you could try is tapping the ignition wire from the engine bay rather than the harness... It's a little more work but it should work out just fine.

I found a better ignition wire to tap. I was thinking yesterday that my car has an aftermarket car starter installed and they must have interupted that wire or something.
