I was planning on flushing out my coolant and adding a 60/40 mix of coolant and water and a bottle of water wetter.

Is it a good idea to use Toyota red or is any coolant fine?

I would stick to Toyota Red or go 100% for the Toyota Pink (which is a mix of water and coolant). I also dump in a bottle of WaterWetter as you mentioned

The Toyota red coolant is the best. It's less acidic/corrosive than the green. I noticed a lot of people who had their heater core go bad were using green coolant.

Toyota sells pre mixed and concentrated which you will need to add water. Make sure to use distilled water to keep mineral build up out of your cooling system.
