Default i am a newbie in this forum. have a couple of questions.

i think this is the right place to post them. Ok . i when on a road trip on my sc400. Los Angeles to Sacramento. The Car ran find. But it was real hot inside the cabin. the car dont have A/C it does but i think a need to fill it up. but we were traveling in the middle of the night. and it was cold. but the car was real hot inside specially over the transmission part and radio. THe funny part the i put a water bottle on in my cup holder and 30 minutes later the water was super hot. I had the heater off. its this normal for a sc400 to get hot like that. but my engine never over heated.

Probably needs to be in the Engine forums...

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/performance-and-maintenance-33/

But heat coming through to the cabin from the firewall is common with our SCs.

Nothing wrong with that If your concerns are heat in the cabin, that's a normal thing with the SC's. In the summer I like to block off my heater core valve and it helps a lot to not have warm water flowing freely inside the coil. The valve never completely closes in normal form.
