sc400 single muffler size
My single rear mount turbo is on its way and I'm going to end up using a single muffler set up. What would be an optimal muffler size? I narrowed my choices to diesel mufflers 4" or 5". Would a 5" muffler be too big? I am going to sell my dual mufflers soon too.. if anybody wants it let me know.

No, I'm converting it to single. So its 5" single.
Haha I posted it up there when I was pissed at the car for breaking down all the time. I'm still pissed at it, because my IAC still is not working and my steering column just stopped working today. Ugh!

um, a 3" muffler supported 500 hp on my Talon...
essentially, the cross section of the exhaust pipe determines flow...
http://www.autolounge.net/calculator...ustsizing.html
4.0 liter, max rpm = 7000, 2.5" single exhaust
250 hp, 2.5" single exhaust
you don't need a 4" exhaust until you are making 700 hp...
