1jz stock turbo upgrades
Hey guys. I searched for this but couldnt find it.
I was wondering if anyone has looked for stock replacement upgrades for the turbos that come on the 1jz. will the stock turbos from the 2jz fit? I know that the motors in japan had ceramic turbine wheels where as U.S. spec were steel for higher boost.
Has anyone ever checked the possibilities?

There's honestly not much out there. There's a seller on ebay selling 1j stock twins with steel wheels. DriftMotion has an adapter kit so you can use the stock 7MGTE turbo. There was one guy on Supraforums that had someone mod he stock manifold and put 2 GT28R's. The 2J US turbos can fit with modifications.
