Default Radiator Question?

Will a radiator off an automatic car fit and work with a 5spd? I have a 5spd SC300 and my radiator cracked today. I found a used one but it's in an automatic SC.

Are there any differences?

I did.....

Whats the part no. on the auto radiator, and the part no. on the manual (cracked)...if they match your golden.

The only thing that I would think getting in your way...Auto trans cooler.
Might be wrong though.

I would imagine you can use the auto rad but you would have to plug the holes for the tranny cooler...........no big deal.

Alright, Thanks Chris. I was wondering if anything else would be different between the 2 radiators.

One more question? The crack is at the top of my radiator where the inlet is for the water. The plastic cracked so I am wondering what I could use to patch it until I can get my hands on a new radiator? Would JB Weld be ok to use?

Any information would be great.

It would suffice for a few days I'd say, gotta remember that there will be a lot of steam from inside so if its not air tight it will probably eventually eat through the compound.

what he ^ said .........x2

just do not........i repeat DO NOT ever use that radiator seal crap you pour in the rad........it will get all over the inside on everything. Might also create problems with the thermostat...I have seen cars come and go that have put that stuff in for the quick fix and its not worth it.

Alright so I have checked and searched all over, even used google until I was blue in the face and I can not find any one who has used an Auto Radiator on a Manual car.

Has anyone on here done it? The measurements are the same but the shroud is different I think. Any help would be gladly appreciated.
