Question Plans

I'm new to the forums. I don't currently own an sc300 but i have one on hold for me until i get out of my tech college. This maybe the wrong forum and i hope not but if so i meant no harm in posting wrongfully. Anyways, i have a '98 sc300 on hold for me. I have a few questions:

Would it be worth rebuilding the engine that's in there (assuming it's a 1jz or 2jz non-turbo)?

Which do you guys prefer: Single or twin turbo setup? (I guess that depends on the intended purpose).

The class i'm in is a performance class at my college. Anyone running a D-shaped piston with longer rods for more stroke and a higher top end?

Once again, sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, i'm just trying to get my plans in order.

Thanks.
