MAP-ECU 2 Released!

So I've been trying to decide between a MAP ECU and AFC NEO for tuning my stock twin'd 1JZ. I went to the mapecu site today to find out the new MAP-ECU 2 is now available. It's intriguing with its full timing control.
Does anybody have some insight into this new unit?

Its was said its very similar to the original MAP ECU but with some extra features such as timing control and more readability/tuning.
Overall I think it'll be a great product provided you have someone around your area with the know-how of operating it.

I have the MAP ECU to run my T67 1.5JZ. The setup and software are VERY easy to use. There are only five wires to splice and its relatively small so its easy to mount. The tuning softare is simple. My tuner had never heard of the MAP Ecu when I brought it to him but he is proficient with AEM and the Power FC. Anyone with a basic tuning knowledge can pick up the MAP Ecu in no time. We had my car idling and street tuned for 15psi in about an hour and a half.

I can only imagine that the MAP ECU 2 is even better.

Its not just to get rid of the maf, that was just a benefit you get right off the bat. Map ecu's are pretty popular for their price and are supposed to be easier to install on jdm 1j/2j motors. The map ecu 2 now has a 2 step, and full timing control. It also has its own built in map sensor that will probably cut down the install time even more. From a general consensus, most supra tuners around the country recommend a map ecu over an safc or somthing similar.
