Default just got sc4..want to convert

hey guys i just bagged my honda and picked up my first SC400 today. and im new to CL..ive looked into it but havnt found what im planning on doing...i want to get a 5spd tranny on the sc400...would it just be better to keep the V8 an swap the tranny? if so what tranny would i need?one off the sc300? OR would it be better to just get a 2jz or 1jz front clip an get a 5spd tranny to go with it? if anyone knows of a write up of the tranny conversion being done on the SC4 please send! sorry if the question has been asked alot...im a newbie here...didnt find what i was wondering from search.

search sc400 and r154... good write up, but its still not finished. Its cheaper to changed over to a 2j or 1j but even so its going to be work since the mounts are different.

hmm thanks....well i read the write up on the sc4 5spd conv. an it seems like it would be more of a headache than just buying a 1jz an 5spd tranny an throwing that in or even 2jz an manual tranny.
