car died tonight =/
it seemed to me that for the past 2000 miles my car was having a little hesitation starting.
it would be bad on the first cold start, and progressively get better throughout the day.
well, these past few days it has been bad, and I had a suspicion that it was my starter.
tonight, my car wouldn't start. the lights, and stereo, etc all seemed like they were getting enough power, but my car wouldn't turn over.
the first few times it would try to start, and then eventually i just got this rapid fire "click click click click" sound
i tried jumping it (praying that the problem was w/ my old battery) but that didn't do anything.
anyone know the diagnosis for this?
i had heard that the starters in these cars go bad and are pricey to replace.

It sounds like an electrical problem...Check your battery cables to make sure they are snug...If that is not the culprit then maybe your starter motor has issues... If you jumped it and didn't start it is not your battery or alternator...

I'd get the battery tested just to make sure it's working. You don't want to end up replacing things and then finding out it was just the battery. The cables might be bad. Ya never know
