Anyone know of any catback exhaust systems for the SC300 other than Greddy MX?
Looking for absolute performance... It can be loud.
Was looking and the Greddy MX is only 2.5". Its quiet and ppl say it flows well, but I think I want something that's practically straight thru.

No, removing cats is already under way with a Custom Midpipe.
I want max flow, and the Greddy MX is 2.5" after the split.
Is the Apexi GT stuff universal?

If I were you I would just get 2 Apex'i universal mufflers and then have a good shop do some custom piping. That way you will have enough flow. The only other thing that might work would be importing some exhaust made for a twin turbo Soarer.

Dunno that much about turboed cars, but i gots tha apex dunk universal exhaust (3.75), an that iz hella loud an gots good flow to it also, i put custom piping 2.75 after tha split an i took out one uv tha cats, it wasnt all that expensive either i gots both uv the exhausts for about 320 (damn tax..) an i gots tha custom piping done and put on fo 150 flat.... an believe me it sounds hella deep..

ok to translate out of West Coast import speak:
He bought the Apexi' Universal Dunk kit and it sounds good...
please learn to type right so we can actually read what you're saying; thank you...
I don't think that there's a Apexi' GT universal muffler...there MIGHT be... but I doubt it... if you wanted to go witha universal kit; I'd go with twin N1s and get some custom 2.75" or 3" dual piping built for them... N1s always sound sweet on a I6 (especially the 2jz)

Thanks for the translation... Sounds like a cross between ebonics and something else, can't tell what.
The N1 Universals look good, Kind of big on the outlets, though... 115mm. Thats as big around as a CD.
The 80mm inlets would work nice with mandrel bent 3" pipe, though.
If I go this route, I guess I'll have to ward off the "ricer" comments some how.
Thanks.

hmm; I've never really heard of N1s being classified with ricers... the tips may be big
but thats just N1s if you check out the rx7 cars... LOTS of 3rd gens use the N1 systems... i never really heard of any trouble with N1s being called rice... except when they are on Hondas
