My WTF is going wrong thread LEXUS GURUS CHECK IT OUT
Ok so here are my two dillemmas.
I got the new SC all prettied up... and all rebuilt... ok.
UBER Problem #1:
So now I start the damn thing up... and the car begins to shudder like crazy in idle.
When I take the RPM up to pasat 2000 its ok and it doesnt shudder but the minute that I start idling with the car anywhere it starts shaking like crazy and making this putt putt putt putt putt sound. There are no CEL lights that come on. What could this be? And is there anyway I can tell what it is for sure?
UBER Problem #2:
My heater/air doesnt work. The LCD display says that its on... but no air actually comes out... does this mean I have a blown Blower motor? I checked all FUSES and they are all good.
HELP ME PLEASE ANYONE... SOMEONE?

Chung,
My first inclination is that you have a fuel problem, which is why you are experiencing the problem at idle. Start with the fuel filter, then the pump. Does the car operate correctly while driving (meaning, once the RPM are up does it drive fine?) If the same issues occur while driving, then I would look at the electrical system for a misfire. Plugs, wires, distributor caps, rotors, coil packs.
Hopefully this will help you get started on diagnosing the problem.
Issue 2 - yup, sounds like the blower motor.

woah woah woah.... hold on guys... your forgetting that he said he got it all "CLEANED" up! if by some change you used either a hose or a pressure washer on your engine, then theres your problem. if you got any water down in your spark plugs... it will do that. i had this problem... it went on for about 2 or 3 days, then i just got pissed and while in the garage, i held it at the rev limiter for about 5 seconds. havent had a problem since.
just my quick $0.02

sure...
step one: get your keys
step two: go get into your car
step three: drive to your local library
step four: find the chilton manuals
step five: check out the one for your car
step six: follow the instructions
step seven: fall back in love with your SC
step eight: return your free library book.

Whoa whoa whoa...
Ok I got the blower motor working.. but now I got an even weirder problem. So now I do get air... but its a very weak amount and I cant increase or decrease it. Like it stays the same speed (variable speed dont work).
What could be the problem here? Some tell me its the transistor... that I just replaced...
or that it could be my head unit.
Thoughts/suggestions? SO CLOSE TO THE FINAL SOLUTION HELP!
