Default CAI installed

Alrighty, well one of my first mods to do to this car was install my CAI. The project is not done however, i will either make a shield for the filter where it is now so rain will hit the shild and not my filter; or to put a big *** new K&N filter thats longer and route the piping into the nose of the car, right in the area of where my small grill feeds air into. The only problem with putting the filter in the "nose" is when it comes time to clean it, its gonna be a PITA to get out and in. Anyway this is where i am at now.

I really need a new sig....

Wow that is a pretty clean install. So you decided to route the piping underneath the headlight? Can you take a couple more pics of that? It looks interesting. The way I had done it was I just cut a 3.5" hole right where you have that red box looking thing underneath the piping and stuck the filter right through there and end up in the same location as your filter. Pretty nice thought great job. Your SC4 should be screaming now eh?

I can try to take some more photos, i just used a 90 degree bent intake pipe, and actually had to cut it closer to 45 degrees. But i had to shave away this plastic piece of the headlight, it was kind of like a plastic stick that stuck right in the way. That sucker came out, and pipe slid in tightly. And yeah it does scream now

i got my piping off ebay, great place that is i tell ya. Hose connectors and air filter you can should be able to pick up at like an autozone or something. I like the K&N air filters the best, get the biggest possible for the job!

Whoa CLEAN installed. Very nicely done, I should have done that when I was NA. I just dremeled a huge hole on the bottom and stuck it down there. Good to know that there are actually people who think before they mod their cars haha.
